History

The ancient art of ear candle cleansing was used in countries throughout the world including Aztecs, Incas, Mayans, Native Americans and Europe. Ear Candling is ancient technique of creating a long cone or funnel usually made out of cotton muslin, which has been soaked in paraffin and various herbs. It is place in the outer ear canal.

How it works?

The spiral of the cone draws out debris. Smoke goes into the ear. Debris is osmotically drawn through the eardrum into the cone. In the outer ear canal excess hardened wax plugs may be drawn out. It creates a reverse osmotic pressure that equalizes the Eustachian tube pressure.

How often?

We suggest three ear candling sessions, a week apart. This allows the process to complete a cycle of clearing accumulated debris. Normal earwax replenishes itself within 24 hours.
